Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location is pretty good, especially for visiting UCH Galway. The staff is helpful and attentive throughout our meal, but the rooms near the lift lack air conditioning until 5 pm. The dining experience seems a bit disorganized, and the cost for delivered meals is around €20.
My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing. The rooms were dated and lacked any atmosphere. I even found a pair of old socks in a drawer left by a previous guest, and there was mold on the wallpaper. The blankets on the bed had a strange smell, and the breakfast was cold and below average. Overall, the experience was dreadful, and I won't be returning.
My stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall. The rooms were spotless and very spacious, providing a comfortable retreat. The staff was very nice and helpful, but the noise levels in the corridors could be quite high at times. The location was convenient for exploring Galway and Salthill, but it required some assistance to find initially. The dining options were good, although a bit limited in terms of variety. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and added to the pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms in the new part of the hotel were beautiful and extremely comfy, tailored with the guest in mind. However, the older rooms were minuscule and not as cozy as I expected. The service was warm and friendly, although a minor hiccup during check-in left me wishing for a gesture of goodwill. The location was brilliant, close enough to enjoy the charms of Galway city with ease. The dining experience had its ups and downs with fresh and delicious options but lacked variety during breakfast hours. Overall, a decent stay but with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room I ended up in was clean, spacious, and cozy, but there was a mix-up initially. The service had its moments of friendliness, but there was some lack of attention to detail. The location was nice but a bit of a challenge to reach uphill. The dining experience was hit or miss. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant and disappointing experiences. The rooms were lovely and very clean, but there was an old pair of socks left in a drawer from a previous occupant, which was a bit off-putting. The service was well looked after, adding to my overall experience, but there were moments of disrespect from some staff members. The location was great, close to the Salthill promenade and town, offering plenty of family and dog-friendly activities. The dining was nice, although there were some inconsistencies in service quality. Overall, the hotel offers a decent value for the price paid.
The hotel offers lovely and spacious rooms that are well-appointed and spotlessly clean. However, the spring mattress is as hard as a rock, and the presence of an edge along the mattress may cause discomfort, especially for tall guests. The decor, while clean and comfortable, shows some signs of being a little tired. On the downside, there were noticeable dust and cobwebs in some areas.
The hotel offers very spacious and spotless rooms, making it easy for 3 single friends traveling together to spread out with access to 2 bathrooms. I had a comfortable night's sleep, although some noise required ear plugs. The location is good, close to both Salthill and Galway city, but the lift was out of service, requiring a long walk to the room.
